I was sent to cover Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff’s return to cricket at St.Annes C.C. by the Manchester Evening News, with a brief to get video footage of him bowling and batting.

I set up my tripod on the balcony and with my Canon 1d mkIV and a 300mm lens.

After doing a few clips of him in the field, he started his second spell from the Highbury Rd end.

Nobody was more surprised than me when I played back the clip and realised I had got this amazing catch in the bag.
