Beautiful start at Old Trafford this morning, both with the weather and Katich and Prince making an 181 partnership before lunch.
Its day three and the weather is almost balmy after yesterday!
Lancs moving along steadily but lost the wicket of Luke Procter just before lunch.
And another wicket, Paul Horton run out before an early tea because of heavy rain.

I spent the fun afternoon photographing at Lancs CCC at the launch of The Lancashire Way with stars from Sport, Media and Politics all joining in with the youngsters.
What with is The Lancashire Way?
An exciting joint project which Lancashire County Cricket Club, Lancashire County Cricket
Club Foundation and the Lancashire Cricket Board are undertaking throughout 2013.
Under the title, ‘Lancashire Way’ all three parties will be working closely together to
promote inclusivity and to raise the participation levels of cricket across our region through
six key initiatives.
It’s day four and rain has interrupted play on and of,f but it didn’t stop Luke Procter having the best bowling figures of his career with 7 for 71!!

After two days of no play due to rain , we got underway in brilliant sunshine, two youngsters making their debut Alex Davies and Tom Bailey….however it is now overcast,and blowing a cold wind off the Irish sea!!
